Calculator data
Your basic salary, contract type, separation method and working dates are processed by code running in your own browser. They are not sent to our server, not saved and not shared with anyone. When you close or reload the page, they are gone.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting server keeps standard access logs. These record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use them only to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
We do not set cookies and we do not use advertising or tracking scripts. If that changes in future, we will update this page before it does.
Offline use and the installed app
So that the calculator keeps working without a connection, your browser stores a copy of the pages you open and the files they need, such as the stylesheet and fonts. This is a standard browser feature called a service worker cache. It holds website files only. It does not hold the salary or dates you enter, and nothing in it is sent to us.
If you install the site as an app on your phone or computer, the same applies. You can remove the stored files at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings or by uninstalling the app.
Third-party services
If you select Download PDF, your browser loads an open-source PDF library from the cdnjs content delivery network run by Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives your IP address in order to deliver the file. The PDF itself is created on your device.
Our pages link to other websites, including official UAE government sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Children
This site is intended for working adults and is not directed at children.
